About The Artist
Anna Jeffries is a classically trained vocalist, cultural strategist, certified mindfulness teacher (CMT-P), and music diplomat of Occaneechi-Saponi and Jamaican descent. A graduate of Berklee College of Music and a OneBeat Fellow, her work exists at the intersection of ancestral sound, global collaboration, and cultural preservation. Through voice, ritual, and narrative, Anna uses music as a tool for healing, diplomacy, and Indigenous futurism.
She is the co-founder of Handèwa Farms, a North Carolinian farming collective advancing food sovereignty and cultural rematriation. Her leadership and artistry have earned fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts and Soho House, among others. As a certified mindfulness teacher, she integrates land-based wellness practices with sound healing and education, offering experiences that bridge tradition and innovation through a voice shaped by lineage, resilience, and vision.
From land to stage, Anna activates music as a living archive and an embodied form of diplomacy that connects generations, geographies, and collective memory.
