Remix ⟷ Culture Announces Organizational Restructuring and New Leadership Appointments Eugenie Cha named Executive Director; Hatim Belyamani transitions to Artistic Director

New York, NY — December 11, 2025 — Remix ⟷ Culture announces a series of significant organizational changes designed to strengthen the institution’s foundation, expand its artistic vision, and support long-term growth. The organization has undergone an internal restructuring and has elected its first institutional Executive Director, Eugenie Cha, who will officially assume the role on January 5, 2026. In addition, founder Hatim Belyamani has transitioned into the newly defined role of Artistic Director.

The restructuring reflects Remix ⟷ Culture’s evolution from a founder-led arts initiative to a growing cultural institution with a broader strategic mandate. The new structure strengthens governance, clarifies leadership roles, and positions the organization for sustainable expansion in programming, operations, and institutional partnerships.

“Remix ⟷ Culture has entered a pivotal chapter,” said Board Chair Francisco J. Martinez. “Formalizing the Executive Director role and appointing Eugenie Cha represents a major step forward in building an organization with the structure and capacity needed for long-term success. Her leadership, paired with Hatim’s artistic vision, will guide Remix ⟷ Culture into its next phase.”

As Executive Director, Cha will lead strategic planning, operations, fundraising, institutional partnerships, and long-term organizational development. As a writer possessing an interdisciplinary background in the arts, humanities, and social justice fields, she brings deep domestic and international experience in non-profit leadership, strategic development, arts administration, and cross-cultural programming, positioning her to build the infrastructure that will support the organization’s continued growth. “I am honored to lead Remix ⟷ Culture at such an important moment,” said Cha. “This organization has a powerful mission grounded in cultural exchange, artistic equity, and community connection. I look forward to working alongside

our board, staff, and artistic community to strengthen and expand our impact, building on Hatim’s visionary work.”

In his new role as Artistic Director, Belyamani will focus on shaping and advancing Remix ⟷ Culture’s artistic direction. He will continue to develop new creative projects, deepen relationships with artists, and guide the organization’s multidisciplinary programming.

“This transition allows me to devote more time to the artistic work that has always been at the heart of Remix Culture’s mission,” said Belyamani.

“I am excited to collaborate closely with Eugenie and support a structure that allows both the art and the organization to thrive.” These leadership changes mark the beginning of a new strategic era for Remix ⟷ Culture—one focused on expanding its programs, strengthening its institutional capacity, bridging partnerships, and deepening its roots within New York City’s cultural landscape.
