Social Media Intern

Duties:

  • Taking creative direction from creative director

  • Implementing social media calendar dictated by creative queen

  • Ensuring all social media posts are on-brand (consistent with RC style guide) across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest (including IG stories and live streaming)

  • Engagement with comments and video platforms for Youtube, Vimeo, etc

  • Communicating patterns and trends to creative director

Requirements:

  • Hard skills -- experience with diverse social media platforms, experience working with tight schedules and hard deadlines, impeccable command of the english language / spelling / grammar, sense of humor a plus, personal touch encouraged

  • Soft skills --  organized, works well with others, enjoys collaboration, self-starter (takes initiative), takes feedback easily, is not an asshole, enjoyable to be around

  • Professional mixing experience preferred

Photo Intern

Duties:

  • Taking creative direction from creative director

  • Editing photos based on style guide

  • Preparing relevant content to send to project partners and collaborators

  • Organizing and maintaining cleanliness of back-end media (following file structure, archiving, etc)

Requirements:

  • Hard skills -- proficient at Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop

  • Soft skills --  organized, works well with others, enjoys collaboration, self-starter (takes initiative), takes feedback easily, is not an asshole, enjoyable to be around

  • Experience with music photography preferred

Communications Officer

Duties:

  • Plan and implement a comprehensive institutional communication strategy that integrates the organisation’s online platforms (website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram);

  • Contribute to the creation of online content designed to engage specific audience segments and lead to measurable results;
  • Track and measure the success of the organisation’s communication efforts, constantly and systematically providing the management team with a clear, evidence-based sense of which kinds of content can be implemented, modified, or disposed of to guarantee optimal performance and engagement with specific audience segments;
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including supporters, musicians, corporate partners, remix artists, and the media, ensuring outstanding institutional bonds with them;
  • Maintain concise records of all past and current communications and public relations strategies and approaches;
  • Identify trends and opportunities for innovation in the organisation’s communication strategy.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in developing and executing communications strategies and programs for non-profit arts organizations, music label, or similar enterprise.
  • Must be a pleasure to work with.
